Digital Mark Ups
Coastal Passive Fire offers fully digital marked up plans and schedules of all works on your site. The use of digital plans provides the ability to easily and efficiently see completed works, outstanding works and defects. This approach assists with time management, and the allocation of service penetration to trades while enabling progress tracking. Our digital system provides reports that include floorplan locations of items, photos of works, comprehensive descriptions of systems installed and penetration details. By reducing the time spent on manual reports, we lower our costs and pass those savings on to you.
Annual audits
Service providers, such as plumbers and electricians, frequently need to breach fire or smoke barriers for maintenance or installation, which can compromise a building’s fire safety if not properly sealed afterwards. Annual building inspections are vital to ensure the integrity of fire and smoke barriers, in compliance with standards AS4072.1 and AS1530.4. Unsealed service penetrations pose a significant threat to both structures and occupants. Unfortunately, it is not uncommon for openings made during maintenance to go unreported, leaving the building vulnerable. Our annual inspection process includes identifying both compliant and non-compliant fire stopping measures. We provide a detailed report pinpointing defects, categorising them by severity, and recommending corrective actions to meet safety standards. This report features an itemised audit, cost estimates, and photographic documentation to guarantee transparency and facilitate a clear understanding of the necessary steps to mitigate fire and smoke risks.
